"Love truth and peace."
Zechariah said it.  I want to do it.
The sunset shows me what to love.
"In the middle of the road of my life, I awoke in a dark wood, where the true way was wholly lost."
The journey often begins with a sense of being lost.

"You live more in five minutes riding a bike like this flat out than many people live in their lifetime."
I agree, Anthony Hopkins.

We're in Mokena, IL. Happy Easter to all. I miss my family and a girl back home, but I love the road and the journey that has just begun. I just finished my Coke float made by Grandma Giessen and I'm sitting down with some rare internet. So this whole blog-updates-from-the-road business is going to be a little different than I expected. There is just too much to take in. There is a ton to write about, but it just feels more right to put it on paper in a leather journal instead of throwing everything immediately into cyberspace. As the hours and miles pile up the processing gets more smooth. We'll see where all of this goes. Keep going here for more steady updates: http://kcgiessen.com/mototrip2012.html

Moto Trip 2012.
The website.

I will still be posting here on this blog, but this other one will have a whole slew of info.
And it looks way cooler.

"Nowhere."
"Now here."

Which one are you in the middle of?

The legacy continues.
Oh.
My.
Gosh.

8,000 miles.
37 days.
2 maps (because it won't all fit on one).
Of course, who knows what route we'll actually take.
